4. Wide range of applications:
(1) High Temperature RTV-1 Silicone Rubber has waterproof and moisture-proof properties for metal and non-metal materials and underwater instruments, and elastic bonding for various electrical sensors.
(2) High Temperature RTV-1 Silicone Rubber is suitable for sealing the ends of electric heating tubes, chemical equipment, electrical equipment, optical instruments, etc.
5. Usage and precautions
(1) Use alcohol cotton pads to clean and dry the surface of the object to be bonded. Aluminum tube/PE tube products can be directly squeezed and glued by hand, or used with a glue gun/dispensing machine.
(2) Note that after glue is applied, it must be fully exposed to air to trigger curing. The thickness of the glue layer is recommended to be controlled at 2-5mm. Too thick will prolong the vulcanization time.
(3) High temperature resistant silicone rubber will be completely dry after 24 hours at room temperature ≥10℃, and the strength will reach the highest after 7 days, or it can be heated to 150-200℃ for rapid vulcanization. Do not apply force before it is fully cured.
(4) If the glue is not used up at one time during the glue application process, pay attention to sealing the glue outlet; avoid contact with eyes during glue application; do not seal during construction and curing, and maintain a good ventilation environment.
(5) Please note that unopened products should be stored in a cool and dry environment, avoiding direct sunlight and severe vibration.
